Yes, EFI main relay. Does the check engine light come on whent eh key is turned on, engine off? If not, it needs to. Also, is the injector resistor plugged in? Little aluminum heat sink just inside pass fender.

Yes, the EFI main relay is clicking when I turn the key on. Yes the check engine light comes on when the key is turned on, engine off. The injector resistor is plugged in. I have a manual should I check all of the resistance readings?

The circuit opening relay isnt an issue on this. Its only job is to turn on the fuel pump. As for injectors, can you put a noid light across the terminals of an injector connector, crank and see if you get a pulse?

Did someone have the engine out and forget to hook up a wire harness ground to the intake manifold? See this often. Did you do an engine swap recently? Did you change injectors? There is 2 different types, ie high and lo resistance ones.

Can you tell me how to check the igniter? And should i get voltage at the igf terminal on the ecu while turning the engine over? I just rebuilt the motor but this problem was there before I rebuilt. Thanks.

Ok, here's where I stand at this point.

The engine will try to fire with starting fluid.

I have 12v at #10 and #20 on the ecu. and is fluctuating while turning engine over.

Checked continuity between 10/20 and the injector plug. Checked ok.

E01 and E02 showing to be grounded.

12v from the resistor.

12v at the injector plug with key on.

Signal generator in the distributer ohm'ed ok and set gap to .010.

Getting 1.09 v at IGT on the ecu while turning engine over.

Getting .75v at IGF on the ecu while turning engine over.

Have 12v at NE on the ecu with key on.

I am getting fuel to the rail.

Hooked up a niod light the the injector plug, and am getting no signal.

will this information help anyone figure this out?

I also have 2 plugs that I have no idea where they go and one broke wire.

the plugs have ends on them like the fuel injectors do (with the wire clip) one has a blue and white/black stripe wires coming from it and the other has a black/yellow stripe and black wires coming from it.

The broke wire is light green with a red stripe.

Can anyone identify these?

no flow

#10 an #20 are the ground signals to the injectors as they are fired via ground off ecm.
