22re ecu
Hello guys i have an 1985 toyota pickup and as im pulling my harness out i see the ecu says 22r should it say 22re? It is a 22re motor

You should be just fine!
Early 22R-E Engines (such as your 1985) have Engine Computers that just say 22R in them.
Later, Toyota changed the labeling to read 22R-E.

The Engine Control Unit (ECU) is located behind the right side kick panel (passenger's side for U.S. Trucks and 4Runners).
