22R Engine Pics

Does anyone have any good pics of their engine compartment? I have some electrical gremlins I'm trying to trace. A bunch of guages don't work, and I've got some wires with ends hanging loose (passenger side, battery/fuse box area). I need to figure out where they should connect, and trial and error is not working.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Why not post some pics of the wires you are trying to identify, it would make things easier.

22R is pretty *$&#$ simple - can't be too hard to diagnose!

What kind of electrical gremlins?

Pictures

There are not a whole lot of electrical things to look at in there but here a three pictures of a 1984 engine compartment. I'm moving this out of the garage in a few days so let me know if you want a close up of anything.

Thanks a lot man, that helps.
It looks like I have a hose missing too, from that little thing right behind the fuse box, and I have a spot where it should hook on the carb (I assume at least, since there's a spot right across from it).
I've got more wires in that same area, I'll have to get some pics up so you guys can have a look. Tomorrow in the light.
Thanks again.

No problem. Let me know if you need any other pictures in the next week or so. The truck is going back outside so I can do a motor swap in a 93. I get home when it's dark so I won't be able to get any good pics after it's out.

First time with photobucket, so hope this works.
Mine's not as clean and dry as yours, but hopefully you guys can figure some of this out.

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...j/overview.jpg

In the overview shot, you can see a few problems.
1. The hose coming from under the breather, where should it end?
2. The red wire that comes out of the firewall is coiled up and not connected to anything. What is it, and where should it go?
3. Right behind the fuse box, there's a little copper nipple that I assume should have a hose connecting to a spot on the carb, which you can see in the next pic, right above those 2 bolts?
4. And the hose with the pinch clip on it, thats sticking out pretty straight, what is it and where should it lead?

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...j/carbhose.jpg

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...enFittings.jpg

And my green fittings are just floating around ( I know, probably not good). I don't have one connected where I saw one on yours, nor do I think any of mine would even go there, based on wire lengths and where they are now.

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...j/Oilguage.jpg

And finally, (for now), the wire that had a boot on it I presumed was for the oil guage, but isn't working. It used to, but has stopped. Maybe just a bad connection. Is it the right wire?
And I assume the temp guage is the one up top near the front, and it's not working either.
So these are the gremlins I'm tracking down, some electrical, and some are those hoses. Keep in mind, the truck works great, just the oil and temp guage don't. Maybe it will work greater if I can connect some of this other stuff. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks again.

Yes. Tha's the sender for oil press. Could be a bad connection or sender could be bad (or gauge itself).

I'll try to compare to my 84 tonite.

where are you, 84? I can't post pics on here from my digi cam (can't figure out how to resize the images small enough to make the server happy) or I'd take detailed pics of my 84 for you. I had the same problem in another truck I rebuilt. The motor came to me in the bed of the truck and I had to figure it out Inspector Clueseau style

Perhaps I could email you some pics.......
