I'm in the process of doing a basic cleaning and tune of my OEM 22R Carb (following the FSM). I have tested all the relevant valves and solenoids and the only one that didn't seem to respond was the Outer Vent Control Valve - applying 12V results in nothing.

Is this going to be an issue when I re-assemble or will the truck run without this valve? Should I devote more time to getting this sussed out? I don't see a replacement part anywhere. If it wont' cause me problems then I won't worry about it. I know this is a piece that is usually eliminated with an emissions delete but I don't really want to go down that road at the moment.

It's possible I'm not testing it correctly but not likely.
