1985 toyota heater core o-ring

So im getting all the parts together so I can dive into the heater core replacement Wednesday I have the core and hoses but I figure im going to need the o rings for the pipes that go threw the fire wall and connect to the heater core. Local Toyota does not have these neither does checker. Where can I get them or what are the dimensions So I can pick some up at the local hardware store. Thank you!

If you are referring to the rubber things OUTSIDE of the copper piping where it goes through the firewall, they would be considered grommets. Try searching that-- Firewall grommets...

If you're talking about something else, then I dont know.

no, im not really sure of the part since I have never done this job before but being my only truck I want to get the parts together before I start. So i was under the impression that the core and the tubes that go threw the firewall connected together with o-rings is this true?

It's a grommet. You can get them at any local auto parts or hardware store in a variety of sizes. Measure what you got and match it up.
