1984 Muffler

Hey guys,
I'm not new to forums other than this one but my girlfriend just picked up a 1984 pickup and the exhaust sounds like its from a lawnmower. What is the best muffler to get?

I have a Super 44 and she wants something like that for hers.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

(Sorry if this is in the wrong section, this is the first '84 I've dealt with)

did you make sure it was the muffler?
my exhaust manifold cracked and it sounded just like a lawnmower too...replaced it and its silent again with the stock exhausts.

anyways, most guys here seem to go for the louder flowmaster 40 or slightly quieter flowmaster 50. hope this helps.
