well judging from the pix ur frame looks straight, ur best bet just find another yota use it for pats like the core support fenders hood etc. and just take the time to rebuild it, its to beautiful of a truck to scrap it, (fix a yota dont trash a yota)

The frame is untouched, I looked it over very close today even the thin little valance under the bumper is fine so you know it was a high hit, good! I spent 2hrs beating and pulling the mid core support on the drivers side and driver fender out, it is actually getting decent. the only piece of core support I need it the beam running across the top that the hood latch mounts to, its wasted, but I can see its spot welded in place! what piece is that and anyone that can link me to one would be awesome! thanks

looks like you got away lucky without any frame damage.

get her rebuilt, then keep it steered away from trees next time.

thats whats called the sweet spot (family owns a bodyshop), hit something above the frame rails and it goes pretty deep, if they end up totaling it buy it back! that truck is too mint to let go!! i think your biggest concern is the fact that the distributor snapped at the block, that could spell some problems. other than that seems like a pretty straight forward easy fix, just a new front clip and the parts that were trashed and you should be good to go

Time to upgrade the truck, does not look like you have a lot to do. with the truck the way it is you can go wild.

She lives agian!! one little hiccup that I did not notice is the bolt holding the dist down broke off in the block! but luckily a pointed chisel and hammer unscrewed it!! then my friend and I thru the radiator in and the dist but it was not startin? hmmm! so my other buddy who owns a auto shop came over heard it crank a couple seconds and said the dist is in wrong, sure enough we took out plug one waited to feel the puff of air set the rotor to point at 1 and it popped of in less then 1 second! drove it around in the parking lot(no lightsor hood on yet) and even the aliment seems fine. road test to come plus a few more tweeks it needs.

That really doesn't look all that bad. I would tear it down and build it back up.
Or better yet, give me the truck and I will do it..

well today I made a lot of progress! put in a new waterpump due to the other one getting bent, also did the valve cover gasket due to the half moon front gasket getting pushed in some, it wasnt leakin but now thats all new now and wow it was an easy job! also we timed it at 10deg btdc seems to run good. also rigged up the old hood latch to latch shut agian and also all the lighting works on the front now and I even made the old bumper fit back on with some muscle usage! all I need now is a grill and left headlight surround. oh and the main thing I still need to do is pull out the left side support alittle somehow because the new fan clutch fit but its like an inch to close for the fan to fit on I bought! I drove six miles on side streets no overheating??

Hopefully you kept that one. Look at the big salvage yards, I go to pull-a-part for stuff when they get an 80-83 in, they are dirt cheap. Plus, it's like a gearheads dream in that yard.
