Looks nice, but----
Yeah, it sure looks good. So, you buy it and then what?
If you drive it and wheel it, it ain't gonna look that good for long. That's the only reason it looks that good - cause it sat in a garage for most of it's life.
Best place for it - so us wheelers can continue to drool over it and remember what 1st gens looked like when new!

RARE .. is the "key" word ..
13k is not unreasonable .. for this unit .. it's NOT something you would buy and beat up , modify , or take to the rubicon !! if you do , you have either to much money or brain damage . this would be a "collectable" -- plane and simple

Yep.
Almost sprung last year for an old Early Bronco that I've known locally for 15 years. It went for 12k, worth every penny. But don't plan on driving, or even enjoying a rig like that. Except in your garage!
Sort of why i sold my 89 4Runner.. when it's stock and cherry, it decreases in value when you put money (mods) into it!
Excited to bring this '80 back to life, cause it's got nothing to lose! Just found out the turn signal assembly i bought is for a late model
