Is this worth anywhere near 1K?

I want an old pickup and this is the only one that hasn't been bought out from under me quite yet, though its in pretty rough shape. Surface rust and regular rust everywhere, though some is hard to tell due to red clay. Currently the motor doesn't have spark (bad ignitor). Due to a few cracked blocks (body lift) and the one through the floorboard, I don't think it's reallya good buy.

I don't think I'd pay more than a couple hundred for it... that rust is bad.

id buy it for $300-400 and part it out..the tires alone would be worth more

It's Worth Fixing. Try To Offer Less. Like $600 To $800 On The High Side If Can Get Them To Go For It . If It's For Offroading Cheap Fixes If For Street And Want It To Be Nice ,i Would Pass And Maybe Find A Good Bodie Needing Motor Work. Good Luck Bear "toyzilla"

I think the body dose not look bad but I would lookover the whole frame very well and under the floor boards
also with it not running I think somewhere around 350$ to 450$ is more like it
what would you use this truck for ? miles on the motor?
beater or restore?

I bought a heep about 6 years ago and it looked good for the most part until I got it home and found that the rear frame was rusted where the rear leaf met and was not going to be a cheap fix for me at the time lost 400$ on what I payed out on it
This trunk looks like it has good potential.
its your money spend it wisely

Definately not worth $1000. Depending on what you wanna do with it...but it's worth about $300 for the truck. If tires are the argument, $500 tops.

It Would Be Nice To Pick It Up For $350-$500 He Said They Wanted $1000... Up Here In Washington State Thats Cheap For A Toyoya 4x4 But Not Knowing What Is Really Wrong With It .they Could Be Rite About It Being Rusted Or Have More Probs That You Dont See Untill You Really Look It Over. I'm Sure They Will Say The Tires Are Worth Several Hundred. Good Luck.

It'd be fixed up completely, 1UZ V8, new springs, redo interior. Around 4500 bucks would go into it over the next 2 years. However, I'm thinking that I should just improve what I've got and do the 1UZ into it as I was planning and SAS it later, as I'm sure I'd bust a birf with that V8 and the 81 axle. On top of that, I hate rust.

I've got to talk to my parents, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to pass on this one. The rust through the floorboard is kinda scary. From the pics you see of the frame, it looks about the same all the way around. On the outer walls of the frame, there are no holes, but I'll have to look on the inside as well.

I'll toss up 350 to the seller, but if he says no, then I'm not going to fight it at all.
