Ok I tried to do a search and didn't really find nothin but its been raining a lot here and my wiper blades they work fine but they are going way to far over the whole blade goes outside of the windshield. Is my motor bad can it be adjusted some how because eventually this arm is going to break cause it pops hard coming back down when it comes back over the windshield. Has this ever happened to any of Yall ??

 

Hmm...don't have my truck in front of me to look. Have you looked at the arms? My Subaru has bolts that tighten down. My wiper arms stopped working once, sort off. The base was moving but not the arms. I had tried too hard to use them with a ton of snow on there and the threads on the bolts had come loose.

Not sure if Toyota has something similar...Sounds like a linkage issue, though.

Have you checked them out up close?

do the wipers look like they don't come down far enough on the down stroke? if so, can you pop the arm off the spline and set it back a few notches? maybe your blades are the wrong size?
