Ok, so I am putting the cab of my 82 back together and can't figure out were this light connects to?? Any help? It turns on with my lights

cant tell 100% but is that the lite for either the light on the heater controls or the light bulb for right above the controls...but looks more like the light for the controls themselves...just pops into the back of the panel

 

I don't think it goes above the heater controls. That is the green bulb that is right next to the heater controls? What is this light that connects to the controls? Heater controls?

 

is it the one that plugs into the back of the heater controls?..(not above)..
it is in this general area behind the trim

 

That actually might be were it goes. I redid that portion of my dash, so it no longer looks that way. When I took it apart it never had a light hooked to it. The light could have been disconected and hanging down by the pedal since I bought it??? If there is supposed to be a light connected to that, then that is most likely it.

i say wait till its night time and turn on the lights. it probably goes wherever something is not lit up. there are only a few things that light up. dash cluster, heater control, and oil/temp guage.

 

Did the ashtrays have a light in them in 82?
