Weird miss problem

Hey everyone I'm new to this site but need some help. I have a 1981 toy p/u with a 22r I just bought. It has a stumble when you shift gears and reapply gas. Timing is good, just did a tune up. Cap,rotor, wires and plugs. It idles smooth and drives great with continuous throttle. I just replaced the primary and secondary accelerator pumps but still has stumble? I just bought the truck last week and the previous owner had the same issue. Any idea or things to check?

Make sure your plug wires are on right order.

Somthing else I should have mentioned is the previous owner just did a head gasket on it. I set the timing at 8 degrees advanced at idle.

Should be 5* at 750-950rpm with the vacuum advance pinched

Probably be more than just a miss! Maybe make sure that the plug wires are seated good at the distributor cap and plugs. Also check all of you're vacuum lines and vacuum switches. A faulty Vacuum switch will give you misses.

If you have plugs 2 and 3 or 1 and 4 switched it will cause intermittent misses.
