v6 3rd Front Solid Axle

Does anyone know if the 4 Pinion v6 rear end diff will work in a toyota solid front axle? My concern would be the splines not lining up. I am looking to SAS my 90 and would like to retain stock gearing if possible for the time being.

It'll work, and the splines will match. Not a different number or alignment, it'll actually be slightly stronger cause the third housing has some more reinforcement to the casting.

Yes it will fit.

The extra fins are for cooling, its stronger because of the 4 pinion carrier that also has larger bearings . All 8" toyota 3rds are 30 spline.

since were talking about a 90, this should probably be in the 86-95 section..

yeah i just figured I would put it in the first gen section because I figured a first gen owner would have more solid axle knowledge. Moderators feel free to delete this thread.
