Trans-Dapt 2181

EDIT: Part number is 2181 not 2128, Admin please correct.

Is anyone using this on their Weber? My 2 piece is leaking bad (go figure) and I was seeing if there any other solutions other than the LCE adapter when I found this.

The thing I'm liking about this is the hole that is drilled at an angle. I would assume this is for the rear port on the valve cover and is the same design as the factory carb. I have the weber one on there now that you screw the brass fitting into and it leaks bad. I think the plate is bent, as its very thin. Although after reading about this adapter I will need to get bigger spacers for the throttle linkage.

Personally I'm sold on the one piece idea and not another two piece. I'm sure the LCE one would work great but I would prefer the least amount of gaskets as possible.

I have one for my Weber (since there is no other one I know of for a 20R engine), and it works just great.

But I don't think it has any less gaskets than the LCE. I would have gone with the Spiral Adapter if they made one for 20Rs. But...for all I know, the Trans-Dapt is every bit as good as the Spiral.

I'm using one and it is great, much cheaper than the spiral adapter too, I also used it because I have a 20r. I had to portmatch mine slightly to make it fit perfect with my weber 38 but I'm anal about these types of things.

works flawlessly on my 20r. vacuum port does nothing for me though. it actually goes nowhere on my old 20r intake.

It's what I have on my 22R. It seems to work fine. It has a gasket under it and another between it and the Weber. Don't the 2 piece ones have a gasket in between the pieces?
