I have a 82 4x4 pickup and the tranny is making ALOT of noise, i found a used tranny from a 91 on craigslist and was wondering if it would bolt right up?

 

V6 engine or 4 cylinder in the craigslist truck?

If 4 cylinder, it will bolt right up to the engine, but you'll need to modify driveshaft lengths, where the crossmember fits, and possibly need to pound out more space for the transmission tunnel.
