anyone added a plug for trailer lights? wondering if i can just splice into the existing harness and if the fuses will take the load. or does someone make a pigtail i can plug in somewhere?

Where you are going to run into problems is that you have running lights, brake lights, and a separate turn signal. Most trailers in the states have the brake and turn signals as one. There are kits for wiring the trailer lights or you can add another light to the trailer for turn signals (that’s what I did). The fuses in my truck handled an extra light on the circuit.

You can just wire them in but the Painless kits from your local parts store are 10x easier to deal with (and they look 100% better, no ugly butt connectors)

i forgot about the separate turn signals. on my jeep the turn is the same as the brake so it was easy enough to splice.

looks like this might work... http://www.keenzo.com/showproduct.as...2823591&ref=GB
