Think I need a new clutch?

Unhappy Think I need a new clutch?

i was up 4 wheeling out in the mountains and i got stuck and was a little pissed and kept rocking the truck and pretty soon i notice a little power loss and then i kept hammering the gas down 5spd manual and soon smoke started to come from under the truck into the cab and smelt like a clutch and then i had nothing no matter what gear i put it in i had nothing and it wouldnt even stall like id put in 5th let of the gas and it wouldnt stall?? is this my clutch, it wont move no matter what gear..

Welcome to Yotatech.

You HAD a clutch...now you need a new one and probably the flywheel looks bad too...so have it resurfaced.

Center Force!! I have done a lot of reading on them. Yeah Lil price but well worth the money. Any other ideas please let me know before I go and buy one.

You might've busted the johnson rod in that good ole tranny of yours. Be sure to check that when you replace the clutch.

I've actually read as many bad reviews as good about Centerforce. Mine didn't work out for me but it was my first clutch job, so there's a chance I screwed something up. I'd go with a Marlin Crawler clutch...I went with a LUK, but in hindsight I wish I had gone with Marlin.
