ok heres the problem, whenever i shift the RPM's stick at right where i shift ( so if i shift at 3500 it stays at 3500 till i hit my nest gear) so i dont know if this is the throttle cable or if its the mixture. it isnt makin my truck run bad or anything but it is just really really annoying especially at stop lights and stop signs ha some help would be greatly appriciated.. aloha

 

there is a return spring for the throttle on the carb, make sure it's not messed up. Follow the throttle cable to the throttle level on the carb itself, look below it and there should be a spring there. Make sure your throttle cable itself is not getting hung anywhere and spray some WD40 on the throttle level and the pedal.
