Here is the thing. If you like the look of 35's, and you go with 33's, you'll just be pissed the whole time that you went with 33's. Get what you want, modify to fit.
i agree

So this morning I put the stock size tires back on the truck (235/75R15) roughly a 28" x 10" tire, The power doesn't feel much different I can feel it initially when I let out the clutch but after that, its almost the same. Took it up the hwy and hit 110km/h, no shakes or anything. It rides alot better too, hit some potholes and bumps and it was smooth for once, My guess is because they are radials. I also tried 4low and I wish I could have that low of gearing with the big tires without having to re-gear haha... 35's should be on it by monday.

I also am glad I took my tires off, found a blown rear wheel brake cylinder(I knew I was loosing fluid somewhere) and I can hear how bad my pinion bearing/crush sleeve are now, time to pull that apart.

I think 35's might be pushing it with 4:10's.

What do you guys think it would cost to switch over to some 4:88's or 5:29's and would you guys reccomend 5:29's for street use?

my buddy runs 38x11x15 boggers 4:10 gears stock (power) push pull stearing and hes never broke the stearing! only everything else lol. but it usualy breaks down becouse he doesnt realy fix anything until its to late.
oh. and the 38's lol

You have pics of your buds truck on skinny 38's? Im trying to decide on either 34ltbs, q78's, or the skinny 38boggers

^ Q78's are perfect for a Toyota dude, especially in B.C., TSL's out perform anything out here in the bush.

Got my Krawlers mounted today, pics? YES.

All that sucks now is stopping, the size really isn't bothering me power wise, I can still use all 5 gears on the hwy, cruises nice and low in 5th down shift for hills.. its all good, probably gets awesome hwy mileage too.

Now the real test.. off road, im taking it out soon on a really light trail, Need to do the rear brakes and swap out the 3rd Member for my spare which is in mint shape, also need to adjust my steering stops out a bit so I dont kill the birfs. Forgot to mention, the only rubbing is at absolute full lock on the spring clamps so adjusting the steering stops out a tiny bit will fix that too.

Island your truck looks killer with that rubber. And yes, the q78's would be very dope. I ran fat tires and skinny, and by far the skinnys are better in almost all conditions except sand or really deep snow. So much more bite, its crazy

Agreed, Q78's are like... made for Toyota's, 11.5" wide, 35.5", perfect. Im not a fan of wide tires either but I got the old 33's for cheap, and traded em for these..so I guess my truck is gonna be on wides for awhile, they arent too bad sucked down on the 8" wide wheels. My brother has the 34x9.50 TSL Narrow SS's on his LWB sami with Toy axles, they are awesome.
