Removing the dashboard from a 1981 Pickup

So I have a 1981 Pickup and need some help getting the dashboard out, I can't seem to get the two bolts holding the dash down closest to the window out, any advice on what tools to use to remove them and secondly how do I remove the heater controls I cant seem to get the wires disconnected in the rear to pull it out? Any advice on this will help Id like to get it out in the next couple days if I can

Are these the bolts on the very lip of the dash that bolt into the strip of firewall beneath the windscreen? If so, a 1/4" small ratchet, a 1/4" thumb ratchet, matching u-joints and a few extensions will get them out. I think those bolts are 10mm.

As far as the heater controls go, you really have to disconnect them from the heater box itself. When I pulled mine, I found it was easier to just leave them attached to the assembly, but to unscrew it from the face plate and let it hang, then discombobulate the cables from the heater box later.

The whole dash structure is uber-simple, and once you really start tearing into it you'll see how it all comes apart. Good luck!

I believe the bolts against the window are 10 or 13mm. Use a small 1/4 ratchet with an extender... Easy money..
