So, the PO (previous owner) installed these pro comp 4" lift springs, and it's always been quite a stiff ride. To make things worse, the shackle angle is such that if the load is ever fully lifted (think fast speed bumps), it flips against the frame. As far as I can tell, this spring should work on my truck fine ('81). I saw mention on another thread of possible overdamping of the shocks. Take a look at the pics (sorry for the poor light) and tell me what you think. I don't know if the shocks are adjustable or what, but I always run with 2 tires in the back to just keep some load on.
