Pitman arm/draglink issue?
Ok I talked to a few people on Trekker Paul's facebook page about this but wanna see what everyone else thinks. I finished my 3" RC lift on my truck last night and took my truck in this morning to have a front end alignment done and they wouldn't do it. Said something about I need to replace something connected to my pitman arm. Something that connects the arm to the gear box but he also mentioned something about adjustable ones which makes me think about the drag link. My steering wheel is almost 90 degree turned to drive straight. I found a pro comp drag link I can get to fix that but is that what I need? Here are some pictures:

1, find another alignment shop that knows what parts to call what.
2, I don't know these all that well, but I would think a highsteer conversion would solve your issue. Or if they make them a 3" drop pitman arm.
3, I would hope that guy wasn't talking about that rust.
4, someone correct me if I am wrong.

An adjustable drag link would help. It'll let you lengthen it to make up for the lift height and get your steering wheel back to center. With the stock D/L it ends up at a fair angle:

With the dropped D/L, you level out the ends so it won't bind up on the j-arm ball stud and the added/adjustable length helps make up for the lift:

Granted, not as good as crossover steering, but better than nothing.

Not that hard to align things, and it is only getting the steering wheel lined up. Basically just point the wheels straight ahead and set the steering wheel straight then just adjust the drag link length to line up with the two ball studs:
