OME leaf springs

ok so Im looking into replaceing my saggy front leaf springs on my 81 Toyota 4x4 with OME "stock replacement springs, but there are a few thing I would like to know first

how many leafs are in the pack?
are they D/P specific?
how much taller will I sit?
will they improve my ride quality?
any pics?

I'm curious what you come up with. I've been wanting to do the same. I can't seem to find out what the factory lift is. Toyota wouldn't even tell me but they would sell me a pair for a grand. So I'm interested to see who chimes in.

I drive an 84 but heres what i can tell you from my experience with the OME's

-I'm not sure how many are in a replacement pack i have the 2" lift springs and they have 7 in the pack
-yes
-depends on your sag
-if your front leafs are like my stock ones you will have great ride quality with the OME's

Here is a thread of mine you may find some useful info and there is some pics of a guy that installed the OME 2" lifters

Old Man Emu

I just got off the phone with the guys from 4x4 connection. little tough for me to decide which shocks to go with firm or soft. I'm going with the whole system (light duty). I want a nice ride for DD but I'm not putting this truck together for my wife (no offense to the ladies, mine is just a wee bit delicate).

Go with the soft shocks. I have really soft shocks and it works great.

The guy I talked to at 4x4 connection said that you could add or subtract leaves very easily but I don't remember how many he said there were. I'll try to remember to ask when I talk to them again.
