Offy intake and throttle linkage wont work

I recently picked up a Offy dual plane intake for a weber carb, when i try and bolt the linkage down the holes are about a 1/4 to half inch to far away from the holes in the manifold when in the carb linkage. Im using a weber 32/36 and stock linkage. its a 83 with 22r. Anyone run into this?

Just saw this.
I had this setup years ago and I seem to recall that there were some aluminum spacers (with longer bolts) that went between the manifold and the throttle linkage to raise it up to the right height to match the carb. I assume this is what you are asking about?
That may have been the stock manifold with weber and adaptor plate though, I can't really remember.
If what you're saying is the cable is too short to reach the hole pattern in the manifold, I think I had that issue, I know for sure that for my DCOE's I had to "modify" the bracket that holds the end of the sleeved portion of the cable to get the right length. "Modification" was done by placing the bracket in a vice and bending with channel locks.
Hopefully one of these options helps.
Pic is worth 1000 words if it doesn't.
Good luck!
