Oem SR5 wheels

Has anyone ever seen these wheels before. I cannot find them anywhere. I think they may have been a rare option. Any additional info would be great. Thanks in advance.

I have a set of 5 original option painted wheels with the holes but doesnt look quite like those.? Check wheel size with width might be telling. I dont know but would think those are from a newer truck. Whats on your truck, hard to see? Whats with all the SR5's, LOL Not all Toyota trucks were labled sr5, but maybe you got the best ones? The white rally looking wheels i have aren't mounted but if i get a chance will take a pic and post here. Not real sure what years it was used but someone might know, think they came chromed also?
Even though my truck is a 5sp it dosnt have the rally package which i think is extra gauges and nicer seats, rally wheels, not sure but mine is just a Basic 4X4 Toyota PU, It has power brakes and radio plus heater and stamped steel wheels thats it, well, window washer too
Took pic but buried in junk pile

Copid this;
"[ The Toyota Hilux (also stylized as HiLux and historically as Hi-Lux) is a series of compact pickup trucks produced and marketed by the Japanese manufacturer Toyota. Most countries used the Hilux name for the entire life of the series but in North America, the Hilux name was retired in 1976 in favor of Truck, Pickup Truck, or Compact Truck. In North America the popular option package, the SR5 (Sport Rally 5-Speed), was colloquially used as a model name for the truck, even though the option package was also used on other Toyota models like the Corolla. In 1984, the Trekker, the camper version of the Hilux, was renamed as the 4Runner in Australia and North America, and as the Hilux Surf in Japan. In 1995, Toyota introduced a new pickup model, the Tacoma in North America, discontinuing the Hilux/Pickup there. The 4Runner is now a full SUV, and the more recent models do not resemble the Tacoma.
As of 2014, the Toyota Hilux is available worldwide, except Japan, United States, Canada, North Korea, and South Korea."]

I have never seen those before. I am interested in what they may have come off of. Enkei provided some wheels for Toyotas. Might try looking and see if they sold any of that type of rim.

I'm not a big fan of Confederate decals - they look trashy and un-American to me, but that's for others to jduge. From what I understand, that truck is a "Rebel Edition" offered by Southeastern Toyota Distributors. Not a whole lot were made as I have only seen 3 of them, including that one which was for sale on eBay not long ago, one has been converted into a crawler with an exo cage (owner is on the MC Forum) and one is still pretty cherry but the side graphics have been removed but the outline was pinstriped. Those wheel could have been part of that package. I would try to contact the guy that sold it on eBay by searching the completed listings - never know what you might find out.

Make that 4... I just saw this one:

He might be your best bet on the factory wheels since his Dad was the original owner.

I've seen these wheels on other trucks not just the "rebel". I used these pics because they were the clearest. I think they were part of a collection of original wheels offered by Toyota but cant find anything on them. The rear center cap looks just like a front locking aisin hub.

I have a set of those rims. purchased truck because it had those rims on it. Couldn't find much information on them. The only thing i have come to find is they seemed to have come on 1982 model trucks only. and the rear hub/ plastic hub cap is made to look identical to a toyota aisin hub. there is no T or toyota on rims.and i believe they made a 2wd version, obviously with with out hub look alike. Still have them in storage.

At least my post was relavent to the thread. Yours is not. If you want to have a chat about confederate flags and what is or isn't un-American, feel free to start a thread in the off-topic section and invite me to it. But make sure you bring along your history books so you know what your talking about.

Now back to the topic... Hey Al, do you have any close-up pictures of those aisin looking hub caps? I'd like to see them if you do

Here are a couple pictures of those hubs that Al has. A little paint job and they'll be pretty dope!

Thumbs up

Anyone know what holds those rear hub caps in place? Do they snap on or lug nuts hug the outer edge of the notches in plastic? Seems like those should have been standard equipment on 4X4's? might be assuming too much of Toyota

those caps are... pretty interesting. my sr5 rims have the metal cap with the weird "T" logo. nearly identical to the "T" on the grille and steering wheel.

Those look like em. Mine arent as nice looking though. You say 81-83 sr5? My production date is 3/80 so that wouldn't be an 81... nor is it an sr5. Plain Jane except power steering and ac.

What wheels are you running?......1980 from the factory either had plain white rims, or if Sport Truck model would have white rims with hubcaps as shown here..Name: IMG_6096_zps95e535ba.jpg
