Newbie to the site with a "new" 76 longbed

Hello y'all. I just picked up a 1976 Toyota Longbed, that needs some work, but is very clean. It has 78,000 miles on it, with factory air. I am looking for sources for parts, and hope to get as much help as I can from the site while I bring this little beauty back to life. I look forward to meeting fellow Toyota fanatics on the site, and hope I can contribute as well. Thank you in advance!

Nice truck! I have a 78. As far as engine parts, I haven't had any trouble.

Rock Auto, or plenty of other places online. Of course junkyards and the classifieds on this site.

I haven't had to look, yet, for anything other than engine parts.

Thanks! I appreciate the kind words and quick help. I can't wait to get this baby back on the road!

So what's wrong with it, if it's not on the road?

So, after being able to work on the truck here and there for a few days, I am pleasantly surprised! This is a 2 owner truck, with me being #3. It sat at the side of my neighbors yard since 2006. Sending unit is shot, but we got it running, choke is sticking a little, but will free up. Brakes are solid, but I am putting on new pads. Replaced clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, and now we got clutch. Radiator was replaced right before it was parked, and it is fine. AC had 2lbs pressure, and is working fine. I'm going to replace the fan clutch, as it's a bit easy to turn. Underneath, the truck is solid, just need to hit all the grease fittings. While it sits and waits for parts to come in, I am putting a new set of tires on tomorrow. If all goes well, she will be road worthy by Wed or Thur. Inside the truck, I'd like to find some door panels, and a dome light cover, as it is cracked, but the light works fine. Having a blast getting this thing going, and can't wait to drive her. Thanks a bunch to those who have sent me messages, and the helpful hints on my posts.
