New suspension suggestions for a '83 daily driver

I am a college student with an awesome 1983 Toyota. I bought the truck from its original owner four years ago and the truck is basically all stock with 154,000 miles. The front leaf springs sag like I’ve seen on many 1st gen trucks and I have about two inches of travel before hitting the bump stops. My question is on a very limited budget and wanting to keep the stock appearance as much as possible any suggestions for new front leaf springs?

OME is probably your cheapest bet on those. For the price you might be able to replace all 4.

You can buy a rearching spring that would give a inch and a half to a two inch lift. They are around 50 dollars plus shipping at jc whitney. I was going to add a set on the rear of my 2wd but the spring width is to wide.

Also known as an add-a-leaf.

Old man emu is probably your best bet for minimal lift and a comfortable ride.

If I went with the OME leafs/shocks/bushings/dampener package is there anything else I would need to change? Longer break lines perhaps? Is the OME just a direct bolt on? Would there be any welding, cutting, etc?

If you just went with the OME kit and didn't add anything else, like longer shackles or a dropped spring hanger, then I believe your brake lines will be fine. One of the OME selling points is that it's supposed to be as much lift as you can get without having to modify other components. I would look at new u-bolts, though.
