New Fan Clutch

Hi folks, I've been having some issues with the truck getting hot, but only in stop and go traffic on very hot (90+ degrees) days.. My theory was to go after the fan clutch first. I'm glad I did. Here is a picture of the old and new fan clutch side-by-side. You'll notice on the old one that the coil that controls engaging is completely missing..... I've put the new one on, and hoping this was my problem...
