Need some driveshaft help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I have 6-8in lift leaf springs on my truck, not exactly sure due to I didn't do it, and I decided to go higher. I fabricated some flexable dual shackles for the rear, all together maybe 10-12in total lift in the front, however my front driveshaft is barely together, theres like .25 to .5 inch of shaft in the other side. I know about going and getting it lenghtend or buying a new driveshaft, however don't have and dont want to spend that money on it. Is there ANY possible budgeted way to have them solid again due to they have WAY too much play in them. Does someone sell like a balanced adapter or something?

I would like to see pictures of this set up. Are these springs in the stock mounting locations? No way you are going to get a stock length shaft to work in the front. Sounds like you are gonna be a 2WD truck for awhile.

my roomate is professional metal fabricator and welder, im going to attempt to have him take the lower unit of the driveshaft to his work cut it, and extend it the lenght I request, I'm not worried about the durability, everything he has made it unbreakable to an extent, but I am worried about the balancing, how bad of problem is this going to be if ONLY the front driveshaft isn't balanced? Its not going to spin on road with manual locking hubs, and offroad you don't or atleast arn't suppose to go that fast in 4x4, so should I be worried?

Drive shaft spacers are also available:

But it sounds like you'll not only need it longer but also with longer slip length as well.
