My buddy picked this up a couple weeks ago


Its got a 20/22r hybrid engine, 5 spd tranny, 2nd gen runner buckets. Its pretty clean, minimal dents and very little rust (most of wich is in the driver floor pan). He picked it up for $1000 and drove it home. It ended up needin a head gasket soon after that and it has a whirring nosie when he shifts into 5th and then when he down shifts from there. Other than that it was one helluva deal

 

Nice. Yeah for $1000, that's not bad. But a tranny swap could be in the future. That's a good looking truck!

 

Yeah, I thought he made a good deal on that one. I havn't heard anything about the tranny in a little while. He already muffed it up though. He touched the pos and neg cables together whle the truck was running. Now it wont start. That was about a week ago and I havn't heard anything else about it.

 

i would check the floor boards, looking at the rust on the rear of the passenger side cab I betcha the floor is gone...
