well just got carb rebuild kit so we"ll tackle that this weekend. hmmm my plans dont really care to stare at a bunch of old pretty shiny autos so this thing will be strictly mud. i am worried about the rear pinion angle as oc mentioned thats on the list, i do say yoder i never wanted 44"s but i will see what this lil engine has, if not so much power then it will go down a lil then some 37"s well see, what else yall think how bout them axles, they gonna hold up, never had problems with my 85. thanks yall

i noticed that too, but why are the center link ears on the bottom of the axle? i've never seen a link setup with lowers in the middle...

if you need info on what the v-6 is, pull the casting numbers off the block and do a search online.

so i tracked down the builder, and gears are 5.13, locked in the back (theres no way), one wheel peel 4 days. the engine is a turbo 3.8 buick grand national late 80's turbo 350 tranny and yota tcase. and they are land cruiser axles. so we got her to run this weekend but after 30 mins she'l get to about 215 temp. we pulled the rad cap and all inside were these rounds pieces of metal(from the hoses)so out came the thermostat,in went a bigger fan, bigger raditor, and cleaner liquid's, and we checked the water pump. bringing the steering box, pump tom to get worked on. does any one know of a good spool for the rear at a good $ but that is strong?
