any ideas on my 80 with no spark, i put a red top battery in and it started for 3o sec and then died and now it wont start. i changed the {in coil} and still no spark, all fuzes are good that i found. any body have any ideas,

 

regulators are pretty common to go , it controls that spark .

Your ignitor is bad.

I had the same problem on my 83 a couple of years ago.

There is a way to test it but i have long since forgotten how the Toy tech told me.
