I went with the half tons do to got them for free basically and putting chromo shafts in the front for $500 and makes it as Strong as a d60 but less weight. Width for more stability on the rocks and better center of gravity.

Switched the front lights to the round 81 style and put an 82 sr5 cluster in for the tach. cage got painted looking for some new fenders before the body repaint then should be done.

Hello all! I'm new to this site but I wanted to give my 2 cents on the center console. I have one almost identical (wood) in my '81 and the room constraint in the cab guarantees that at the end of the day my elbows are sore after hitting it a hundred times! lol. Great looking build!

HA! i also have a wood one that is very similar. and i agree with wolfman, i hit mine with my elbow all the time!
