lighting issues

Ok, so im working on making the old toyota a little more legal to drive on the street, I have many wiring issues. First off the drivers side head light is dim, i replaced it and still the same. I was wondering if there was some kind of regulator for each side of the headlights. Now to the back, I have the typical flatbed lights, 3 wires one being a ground. I can not figure out how to hook up the wires so that they all work properly. I have found two options either have my turn signals stop working when i hit the brakes, or loose them when i have the headlights on. Well any help will be appreciated
thanks in advance

Try cleaning the grounds and see if it helps.
