Sweet project truck. Can't wait to see its progress.
That truk's neither cherry nor a trailer queen so lets lose the tire shine.

Minus the green it looks sick! However, the rear shackle angle is a little on the steep side, is that an add a leaf in the rear?

idk the green is starting to grow on me a little ... but the green on the side grill pieces behind the doors just looks out of place and i agree that the side toyota badges need to be a different color to make them pop

i think it is ... i was told that the truck has 4" suspension lift and 3" body lift(i hate where that makes the front bumper sit)

Body lift bumper brackets will put your bumper back up where it should be.

Keep the green! But change the black to single stage and add some shine! lol. Other than the bed, I think the truck looks sick! Oh and how big are the tires?

yea i found a rust hole on the drivers side a pillar (cant believe i missed it) so i guess i will be figuring out how to patch that ... green is not my cup of tea i think i will like red better and a buddy of mine told me about a guy who does quality paint jobs for dirt cheap (cheaper than maaco) ... the tires are 36x12.50 TSLs with only about a 1/4 tread left though and i found out that they arnt rubbing on the fenders but on the leaf springs i guess some spacers should fix that

Sounds good. I had a couple of rust spots on my 81' when I first got it. Wish I took before and after pics . I ended up just cutting them out with a zizwheel (don't know how to spell it) then tacking in some sheet metal. Turned out pretty well in the end! You wouldn't even know I had to fix it. Good luck though, projects are fun to work on, but even better when you get to the finished project. how much did you pick that yota up for?

yea im just glad that i can work at my own pace with it (note red vw in pics) it is always a pain to be working on a deadline ... there is a guy that lives down the street from me that did a little patchwork on my old truck and it turned out great i might ask him how much he would charge to fix the little spot on the a pillar ... I ended up picking up the truck for about $1500 so i guess i cant complain too much (i saw a few other ones in worse condition going for about $4500)
