Installed new clutch and now no reverse

i just installed a new clutch in my 80 4x4 witth a four speed and I have no reverse any idea why?

describe " no reverse".... Does this mean it goes into gear, but nothing happens when u let off the clutch? or it wont go into gear? any trouble getting into 1st as well?
