man I don't know much about loading images I guess. Anyway here is a pic of it. By the way the ignition you helped me with runs great. Thank you again xxxtreme22r. I think the 40 might be a bit too much-not bad-for my truck but the 32/36 I have is kinda jacked up. I got it from some tweeker about 6-7 years ago and who knows what he did to it. I scored the 40 dfav out of a pick apart yard and it looks good and runs a lot better than the other one. there was a piece of hose with a bolt covering that tube all this time so i didn't mess with it. But after reading some of these threads i started thinking about what it actually was.

Yeah, that would be for the distributor advance alright. Have you attempted to tune it via weber's lean best idle method? You should. But before you do, get the timing advance correct first. Find out where the idle mix screws are for both the primary and secondary. Like I said I don't know much about these 40's but if it's anything like the 38 it should be a similar procedure. Which is also similar to the 32/36 procedure only in that you have two idle mix screws instead of just one and both must be turned at the same time while tuning. Very similar to how you would tune dual DCOE side drafts.
