Yeah my trucks front springs are flat, and I hear that's pretty much how they came from the factory. If you're getting some reverse arc on the other hand...maybe time to either re-arc or replace.

I agree with the guys above. If your factory springs are sagging(reverse arch) then putting longer shackles on will just lift the truck a little but will do nothing to help the springs shape. In this case it is best to get new springs. Also, pics of the truck would be good.

Longer shackles on the front is very dangerous and illegal in most states. It changes steering geometry and allows the axle to move side to side when braking or cornering.

I think yota8083 is right. I think the front springs should appear flat not arced like the rear ones so dont let that fool you. How ever if they have negative arc then they are probably sagging a little bit. Go to toyotareference.com and look at some of the new 1st gen truck pictures and you'll see the front springs are flat. Soo nice to see those old pickups in mint condition. I basically just drool the whole time.

Theres tons of auto part websites that sell direct replacement stuff. I cant really think of any off the top of my head but im sure someone else will be able to name a few. I think car-part.com is one.
