Hi! I will be using a 1983 sr5 cluster in my 1981 truck, I have both wiring harness, and the 1983 fsm with the wiring diagram. Wire colours are different almost every year, so I need the 1981 wiring diagram for the gauge cluster so that I can pair the wires, if anyone can post a pic that would be great, thanks!

I got it for an 80. yours has little round tach in center right? Let me know and I'll post a pict when wife's fancy phone gets home. lol Michael

 

 

Wow thanks a lot Micheal, I really apreciate it! Now hopefully there is no difference between 1980 and 1981.

EDIT: Actually there is not much difference between 1983 and 1981 colours for the wiring of the cluster!

Everything is the same exept speed sensor + and - wires, so all the colours should match up!
