How Much Gas?
How big is the gas tank in my 82?
82 short box model.
I need to drain the gas from the thing and I have no clue how much gas is in it so I want to know what the capcity of the tank is just so I can prepair.

i have an 84 reg cab short bed and im prety sure its 17 gallons. i foudn a site a long time ago that had the facts on that

Around that time it seems many got the wrong sized tank. I would have a few 5 gallon buckets sitting around handy for the drain.
