It doesnt seem like mine is welded on just wonder on how to remove it and if i do have to cut it where would be the best place?

 

for removal of a front clip check out slacker's trekker build...he has had his front off a few times

 

there is spotwelds on tabs comming off the front of the cab for the front clip, drill thoes out and break it loose, someone please corect me if i am wrong

 

spot welds ... and lots of them .. you have to drill them all .
wash and clean , so you can see them .
be sure to take exact measurements before you start .
