the worst part about having a washingtonion truck is the fact that you need a tetanus shot before touching the bed.

Not a pick-up but it is my 85 4-runner - still planning and saving to go to the next level. It's DAMN capable stock - It's so stable and capable that I refer to it as a GOAT. It's sure footed.

Me too ! I've wanted an 84 0r an 85 4 runner for 10 years.
I probably looked at 25 - 30 before I bought this one. I gave $3500.00
for it but it is in great shape and the frame is solid. The engine was rebuilt a couple years ago and I have the receipts.

The front axle and all the bushings, shocks etc were also replaced and it has a Warn 8274 winch on the front. It came with new Bridgestone 30" duellers
on black steelies.

It don't shake, wander or vibrate - I fell in love the first time I drove it.
The cool thing is that I bought it 1/4 mile from my house ! The guy had just moved to the area from Louisiana and placed it for sale.

He was excited that somebody from Yota-tech was going to buy it.

Sorry for the hi-jack I do like the old trucks though, if the came as extra cabs - I'd like them even better. The cab is cramped !

Don't have to tell me. 6'3" 250lbs, my interior of both my Yota and DD are way too tiny for me but hey, you give up certain things for vehicles you love.

I was looking for a First Gen since I was about 14yrs old (9 yrs now) and never found anything really nice for a decent price. Sure my 82 is no pick of the litter but give me some time and I'll have it looking pretty nice.

great looking trucks, makes me wish mine was done.

i was gonna buy a newer sas truck but couldnt part with mine so i just ordered the suspension for mine, hopefully i can find some good sheetmetal for it as it has some cancer surgery scheduled for next week. also needs a 22re dropped in to replace the tired 22r swap that i did awhile back.

So I figured this would be a good place to make my first post. Now the truck isn't mine, it's my dad's. I plan on picking up a 3rd gen in the near month. Sorry, she's still sitting in the garage now, but she does see day light from time to time.

Details:
Full SR5 package
63K
30" BFG's
Stock everything
Factory everything minus Battery, tires, hoses and front pads.

Not mine, but it's my dad's. I plan on picking up a 3rd gen very soon. Sorry, she's stuck in the garage now, but she has been working on the tan the past few weekends, hence the bed full of crap.
