The lines are straight forward..left to the left and right to right.. Is the fuel pump at the front of the intake?

I've has 7 first Gens and the only one with an electric pump in the tank, was my 79..

Hope this helps....I UNDERSTAND wanting to drive it...

Here she is guys. After months of searching I finally found one with a nice straight body, a little typical rust on bed. And has not been modified other than a repaint and a rebuilt engine and trans. So I've got myself a blank canvas here
It's gonna be my driver/wheeler so I don't wanna tweak it too much.
Plan to do:
Weber
Exhaust
Bucket seats
Body work (see if I can fix the rust in bed)
Small lift
Taller Tires and wheels (after these wear out)
Stereo system

I'm open to any other suggestions others would recommend that I do.
Thanks

Awesome site by the way!

Yotablood, nice find! What a great feeling that is! I know very well, and I miss my little blue 83... I let that go 15 years ago... I can imagine how much more difficult it is at this point to find one in good shape! Congratulations, I look forward to the build thread you will surely start, right? Haha. Seriously, if you're going to be doing quite a few modifications you might want to start a thread... So many names here start with yota, I started to think you were someone else for a minute. Lol.

Take care man and best to you on the bed rest and everything else to come!

For the most part it is. There is some rust in the floor pans but all in all it pretty minor. it dose need a new tranny as the 4 speed is messed up but I have a 83 donor truck to do some swapping around so I have high hopes.

Can we see a side shot of the tires and how they fit?

Updated pics of my '83. Just finished the paint today and put two 35x12.50 Mud Rovers on the front. Still waiting on two more for the back. Has a lot of cancer but I see it being a Resto Project later down the road.
