Helping with heavy load?

Helping with heavy load?
I am currently fabbing up a swing out tire carrier for my 1980 short bed (3/4 inch shackle lift). I am in the process of moving and I have loaded up the bed with some of my garage stuff to move and noticed its sagging pretty good. By the time I get the carrier, spare tire, and two 5 gal jerry cans of fuel on there plus my camping/ survival gear in the bed its probably going to be pretty close to what I have in there now.
Any recommendations on what to do to help level it out? First I thought of the Zuk mod but I don't always have all the gear in the bed and I don't want it riding super rough when the bed is empty. Anyone use air bags to help?
Thanks
Mike

What don't you like about your F-150s?

Think I will try the zuk mod first since its cheaper to do. If I don't like it I am not out much.
Any recommendations on what springs to use? Thinking of trying front TJ springs since it looks like they will fit over the bumpstops and I won't have to fab anything up.
Thanks
