Front corner lamps next to round headlamps

Can you tell me when the corner lamps next to the round headlamps are supposed to light up. Are the reverse lamps in the front? Are they supposed to light up when the brights are hit? Your help would be appreciated. Thks

they are 'city lights' and are on when the headlight switch is turned to the first click.
in many countries these will be used at night in urban areas to reduce glare, etc.

They turn on with the first click and should stay on when the headlights are on as well.

Also, just to be sure, make sure they're plugged in...
