I just bought a 1980 pickup short bed. As we all know frames are bad for rusting out. I have found a straight axle 85 frame in excellent shape. Im wondering if i can use the 85 frame. I dont believe it will be a direct swap. Just wondering if others that have done this will chime in. And fill me in on what to expect while doing this build. Thanks in advance.
