First time gear install Tips or advice?

So im finally upgrading from my 4.10s on my 83 yota and am swapping in 5.29s this is my first gear install and was wondering if there was anything i should know? or anything to make it go smoother and less of a chance of bad turnout?

using a "spacer" from the /79-/80 and shims .. is a way better choice then a crush sleeve you have now ..

gonna take a few cool tools to do the install.
you can find several great write ups at Zuk's website: http://gearinstalls.com/
edit: be sure to mark your carrier bearings side to side...
get a master install kit for each third member

Yeah, I HIGHLY recommend doing alot of reading before you start, and as Robb said, ZUK's website has a TON of helpful info. Also there is this:
