crank deflection
anyone know what the max specs for crank deflection are? I discovered the source of this noise that has been plaguing me since i bought my pickemup. the damn thrush washers are worn enough to allow crank deflection, which in turn allows the crank to move enough to let my flywheel hit my starter ring BUT only when the driveline is in a bind. for example, i was able to replicate the noise yesterday by locking the hubs and turning in reverse with the wheel cut all the way to one side, atleast i finally figured it out! granted it's not a whole lot of movement, but jfc, it doesn't have to move very far before it starts interfering with normal/quiet operation.
I think i'm just going to throw new bearings on the entire rotating assembly along with seals and a new oil pump.

found thrust clearance specs and limit. In case anyone needs the info, standard is .02-.22mm with a limit of .30mm
since mine flywheel is contacting the bendix, i think it's time to replace!
