Is it bad to just run off your catalytic converter I unbolted the pipe that goes to the muffler ? Could someone tell me the hazards of this?

Because that's the reason people who actually enjoy the sport of off-roading get a bad rep.
But hey, keep up the good work.

Yes. Your truck will probably fall apart now. The main bearings rely on sensors past the Cat Converter to keep them within tolerance. Also, its hard on a vehicle to not have the muffler bearings spinning. You prevented them from doing so by unbolting the muffler. Good luck!

I had to run an LCE Header and nothing else for a couple weeks because they sent me the wrong cat-back kit and I had cut up my old exhaust already. Sounded like a V8
