Carb Upgrade

just picked up an 81 2wd for my sister. Having trouble starting in the cold so i was about to buy a 32/36. My question is if anyone has done the manual choke opposed to the electric. This is the one i was looking into as i prefer a manual choke... http://www.carburetion.com/Weber/Dat...M&Model=PICKUP ... Opinions?

I went manual on mine - I prefer a manual choke since it is less electronics to potentially fail. It's easy to do since you essentially only have to route the choke cable from inside the cab. I ran mine through an existing grommet in the firewall and zip tied it to the throttle cable so it stayed where it belongs. Obviously, my truck is in a thousand pieces right now, but the only time I needed to use the choke was when it got cold out - never had to use it during the summer.

Thanks for the responses! Weber with manual choke on the way! Also i wanted to point out to others that the redline kits from LCE are alot more expensive than Carbs Unlimited... I use Carburation (Carbs Unlimited) for all my VW Carb stuff and they are great.
-Thanks
